As keen runners ourselves we have developed the ViziVest from our own experiences. Even in the summer, work commitments meant that we often weren't able to get out for a run until it was dusk, or even pitch black.

 

We wanted to come up with a protective vest that would provide the ultimate in safety, not just reflecting light but emitting it as well, so that we could be spotted even in the dark.

 

Moreover, we wanted to feel safe, not just from potential attack but from more mundane stuff like twisting an ankle on a tree root in the middle of nowhere, or even just getting lost (and we get lost a lot!).

 

And then we thought about other people who enjoy the outdoors, like walkers, bikers and even horse riders and that's why we added the buckles on each side, to make it as flexible and adjustable as possible.
